01Data controller

02What we collect
This site has no user accounts. When you send an enquiry through one of its forms — contact, demo request or callback — we store what you enter (typically your name, company, email, phone number, your message and the answers the form asks for) in a database on a server we operate, together with the page language, the time of submission, your IP address, your browser's user agent and the page you came from, which we use to detect spam and abuse. If you write to us by email or WhatsApp instead, we hold the contents of that conversation.
03Usage analytics
Only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner does the site load Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used — clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, the pages visited, your device and browser, and an approximate location derived from your IP address — as session recordings and heatmaps. Text typed into form fields is masked. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer. Microsoft processes this data under the Clarity terms and its own privacy statement (privacy.microsoft.com); the Cookies Policy lists the cookies involved.
04Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to carry out the resulting contract; to keep the forms free of spam and abuse, which is our legitimate interest; and, only with your consent, to understand and improve how the site is used. We do not profile you for marketing, and we do not sell or share your details with third parties for their own purposes.
05Who else handles it
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., whose infrastructure necessarily processes technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver pages. Form submissions are stored on a server we operate. Microsoft receives usage data through Clarity only if you have accepted analytics. If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp's own policies. Some of these providers are based in the United States, so your data may be processed outside the European Union.
06How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months. Where an engagement follows, the correspondence is retained for the duration of the contract and for as long as tax and accounting law requires afterwards. Clarity recordings and heatmaps are kept by Microsoft for the limited period set by the Clarity service.
07Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our holding it at all. Write to hello@motionstudios.it and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or the UK you may also complain to your local supervisory authority. You can withdraw consent to analytics at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer; withdrawing does not affect what was collected before.
